NYT Begins Whitewashing Fort Hood Shorter
Born and reared in Virginia, the son of immigrant parents from a small Palestinian town near Jerusalem, he joined the Army right out of high school, against his parents’ wishes. The Army, in turn, put him through college and then medical school, where he trained to be a psychiatrist.
But Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the 39-year-old man accused of Thursday’s mass shooting at Fort Hood, Tex., began having second thoughts about a military career a few years ago after other soldiers harassed him for being a Muslim, he told relatives in Virginia.
He had also more recently expressed deep concerns about being sent to Iraq or Afghanistan. Having counseled scores of returning soldiers with post-traumatic stress disorder, first at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington and more recently at Fort Hood, he knew all too well the terrifying realities of war, said a cousin, Nader Hasan.
“He was mortified by the idea of having to deploy,” Mr. Hasan said. “He had people telling him on a daily basis the horrors they saw over there.”

I didn't take the time to read the full article so I'm going off of the summary excerpt, but I would call that a decent article. It's meant to inform of what people are hearing, and you can decide to support or deny that notion. I'm starting to think it was a terrorist attack, but if there really was harassment, that could lead to him going off his rocker and deciding to support terrorism. News article guys, they present facts, and as it stands right now, they think there may have been a harassment incident. Again so what, but that's all they're trying to say.

You had to know this was coming. If the liberal media can help it, there will not be a "terrorist" attack on US soil while the messiah is in office. They'll call it something else. The investigators of the case who might be able to interrogate the suspect must be fully aware he may practice “Tequia” (lying to non-Muslims) or pretend that he has a psychiatric disorder to avoid punishment. The latter can be a very viable option for a trained psychiatrist who knows the symptoms of psychiatric disorders. Mark my words...this is what defense he will use.

As if blaming Bush for the floundering economy and the continuing effort to pile on to an already enormous deficit weren't evidence enough that Barack Obama isn't exactly presidential -- he poured more gasoline on to the fire with his remarks after the shooting at Fort Hood. He should have come out completely somber and measured in his remarks. Instead, he did THIS.

My son is over there in afghanistan,he is a marine ,he was there for almost a year he got blown up with IED's and men on camels with bombs strapped to them .He many others who are serving knows what real stress is not that stupid murdering idiot and his family claiming ohhh the poooor man was sooo picked on poooor bady.it makes me sick. and the news people that are trying to stick up for them well they are nothing but idiots.

We all knew this was coming, it's happened before - right before the Iraq invasion. And that guy is still awaiting execution - God only knows why. If this one survives the gunshot wounds from the hero cop who put him down he should be tried for murder, and when convicted he should be hanged. Publicly hanged - so that others like him who may be contemplating similar action will see what's coming to them.

CORRECTION: The worst "terrorist attack since 9/11" was the massacre at Virginia Tech. 31 people lost there lives in that one. Wait a minute. I think I'm on to something. Here's a theory for you. It is Virginia Tech's fault. Based on the Fort Hood facts available at the time this op ed was written, my theory is just as plausible.

I'm sure that when obama gets before the cameras to give his condolences to the familes of Fort Hood he will forget all about how just a couple of months ago how proud of his musilum heritage when he was in front of a different crowd. Just like shooters in high schools, people ignored all the warning signs that led to this shooting as well. But then, if they had reported him, Dems would have yelled discrimination. A muslim watching your back when fighting against Muslims makes for a very dangerous situation for our troops.
