The government already has Medicare and Medicaid (and it’s a mess and can’t run that) and it does not work with all the red tape and is in debt by Trillions. Why should we be in debt with more Trillions? Fix what we have first before making any tax payers pay more. Get the government under control before pushing more unnecessary debt on the people. A proposal should be pushed for eliminating the waste that already exist in Medicare and Medicaid and reform that first.

Do these people not READ what goes on in socialist countries like Canada, England and Cuba? Waiting months and years to have procedures. Is that the overhaul they want for AMERICA? Are they that blind with power and stupidity? Have them been working with Michael Moore? The whole Cuba has great health care is such BS. I know, first hand, how horrible living in Cuba and their health care actually is. But of course, Diane can afford to pay for her more expensive health care.

If you don't watch first hand, how can you form any more of an informed opinion, than what you're going to get, from where ever you end up getting it? A suggestion for all is to watch, consider, and then go see what your preferred flavor of talking heads want to say about it - any other way and you're fine with what ever they want to feed you by default = not cool...

Ya...that is the way a lot of the people who post here do it. Amazing. We have a President that actually wants to talk to us and have us participate in our government, which is how it was supposed to be designed, and they have no interest in that since their party lost the election. ABC did these with Bill Clinton with success. They tried to do them with W. Bush, but he didn't want to do them. He preferred we not know what they were doing in office and kept us in the dark as much as possible. That apparently was okay with these guys. This is a great opportunity to see what the President has to say directly, then like you said go off and watch your own talking heads with all the facts in your pocket. I think with a lot of these people, it boils down to being easier to whine and cry about everything instead of actually participating to make things better.

Have you been to an ER room lately, people do get health care when they can't afford it and yes taxpayers foot the bill already.
Question: Do you have 1.6 Trillion to lend the USA? Have you even seen the debt that we owe China already?
Watching the Infomercial is not going to change certain facts about health care reform and the cost that will be attached.
We need informed and educated ideas from all of those who would be making decisions on health care as well as listening to the CBO.

Good point and you said it not me, but it is indeed brain washing to allow ones self to be reduced to basing an entire opinion on information gathered from a single news source - hint hint - sounds familiar huh? But have you noticed this thing called the internets? Don't you think there will be plenty of "opposing" and "viewing" of sound bites for the next few weeks / months / years / decades to come...fOX viewers, making mountains out of mole hills since October 7, 1996...

ABC's planned "infomercial" is a disgrace to journalism! Based on their previous reporting I'm sure they will not mention that in the Kennedy bill members of Congress, all federal employees and union members will be exempt from any national healthcare plan. It is time we demand that everyone be subject to the same laws.

Sorry Diane, I stopped watching months ago. I will not be tuning in on Wednesday. I quit watching ABC when back during the election there were two candidates running for president. Which ever candidate the people chose is irrelevant, the fact that you blatantly covered one candidate over the other with no fair balance was an indication by most reasonable Americans that your bias was showing, and that the free press to protect the american people was no more. Good luck with your ratings, the people are on to you. My disappointment in the direction ABC has taken disturbs me most of all. I don't care what side the media is on, it should not be that blatant.. FOX is the only credible news source on television with any even coverage.
