Judge Bans Christmas Carols at Public Schools
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Children won't be signing religious songs over the Christmas holiday in one New Jersey school district.
The U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia upheld the Maplewood-South Orange school district's ban on celebratory religious music.

What we need is a Christian judge to defend our rights as Christians to exercise our rights to freedom of worship without persecution ( commie term there) We shouldn't be in this position at all. When a few athiests are all we're up against, I think we should simply thumb our noses at them, do what we want, ignore their crying, sing carols, say Merry Christmas as loud and anywhere we want. Display our nativities on our properties, and where they have always been displayed. Then, when the athiests come crying, file lawsuits against them and refuse to comply. ACLU comes with their guestapo, then we still have our 2nd amendment. Keep Christ in Christmas, I will NEVER deny Him!

Someone please tell me why parents who want to keep Christmas in schools cannot sue these atheists to keep Christmas? All my children are grown; but I would not let my children go to a school where their freedom of speech was taken from them. Don't they have PTA meetings anymore?

Obviously you did not read the article. Not surprising on Fox Nation. A school district banned RELIGIOUS Christmas carols, in the school. Since then a couple of parents HAVE been suing to get them allowed again. There are no atheists involved.

The judges did not ban anything. They just ruled that the school district was within its rights to ban RELIGIOUS carols in the schools. The judges made the correct decision. The district did the banning.

Christmas school plays and christmas parties, used to be the one thing that we kids, used to look forward to the most in school. Every year there a christmas theme for the school christmas play, like german one year, spanish the next, etc.. Then we would all sing in the Chorus singing christmas songs. We used to all bring in a gift, and would exchange the gifts, which the teacher would give out to eveyone for the class party.
I feel so sorry for the kids in this secular progressive PC anti-christmas and intolerant amercan public school system they have now.
Somehow, this deleting of american culture and tradition has got to stop, and it starts with the real american moms and dads out there, voting to get rid of these incompetent and intolerant school board members, then you make sure the Principle is not a secular prgressive anti-christmas nazi.

A couple in our sub-division took their children out the public school system because of the Christmas war. It was over a Christmas greetings card. I call that good parenting.
