I'm thankfull for a country of people who very much intend to do what is right. Though we may never agree, we can all rest assured that every action is in the best intentions. I am also thankfull for the fact that we Americans enjoy a standard of living that is above anything else. I am thankfull for all the generous people in this nation who make it their lives work to help the impoverished and dedicate some of their time to help feed the hungry this holiday season. Finally I am thankfull to be a living par of this world. Though most of us would say it is flawed, I see the world as perfect because despite the issues we face, it is our world, and it is our lives to spend making it better. God bless all and enjoy your holiday season, whatever faith you may be.

Boy, is someone at Fox dizzy.
It was George Washington who proclaimed the national day of thanks to God.
He gave this speech on Oct. 3, 1797.
