The "Reverand" Jerimiah Wright, in his "sermons," has attacked Italians, Jews and other ethnic groups. He has attacked the United States and has said that America should be, in his words, "damned." While he has a right to say these awful things, what bothers me is that the NAACP invited him to address the organization at its gathering. They invited this anti-American bigot to address them. The NAACP, under Julian Bond, should be ashamed of itself.

I agree with Brotha4-Peace. However, the remark he made about working on the business world to be more like the White House (integrated), I would ask the Reverand Wright to do a study. I believe the Conservative Blacks have no problem in the business world. It is the Liberal Blacks that walk around with the attitude of "What much can I make for as little work as possible?", that have a problem. They are also the ones looking for the Government to support them. I believe we should ALL go back to our basic values. But then, our wonderful government would lose control over its people and we would again be a FREE people.

Obama attended his church for 20 years. Could you sit in that church for 20 years without a buy-in to what he was saying? That's why it matters. The people you surround yourself with can help to define who you are. The list of questionable characters in his past is long and nobody cared because he wasn't Bush and was so cool. His past associations would disqualify him from being his own bodyguard.

The "Rev." Wright needs to get serious about his "calling." If he claims to be a representative of Christ, he needs to ditch his hatred of all things white and learn what Jesus meant when he said that "love was the greatest" gift.
