Ole Miss Told to Stop Playing Fight Song
JACKSON, Miss. — The University of Mississippi's first-year chancellor followed through on a promise Tuesday and asked the band to stop playing a pep song because some fans are chanting "the South will rise again" at the end of the medley.

We Southerners believe in individual freedom and state's rights. We have a natural distrust of strong central government. In other words, we believe pretty much what our Founding Fathers believed and put forth in our Constitution. Today, we have a corrupt central government which refuses to recognize our Constitution. The South will lead the fight to bring this government back in check. This is what we have always believed and this is what we will fight for. We welcome all Northerners and Westerners -- who believe as we do -- to join with us in this fight.

In your reply to winchester you talked about these beautiful Atlanta suburbs “full of rich black people.” While it is true that there are indeed affluent blacks in Atlanta’s suburbs, the majority of affluent people in Atlanta’s suburbs are White: however, the dysfunctional, crumbling, crime-ridden ghettos of Atlanta are close to 100% black. Atlanta is a great city despite blacks and their problems, not because of them. This is why it is so easy to argue with you guys, because the facts are not on your side.

The fight is not between the South and the North. The fight is between Constitution-loving patriotic Americans who have decided that they want to fight for their freedoms against an oppressive Federal government. We welcome and encourage all northerners and westerners to join our cause. No one knows how this battle is going to play out, but one thing is for sure -- red blooded Americans will not stand by idly as our Constitution is dismantled and our liberty taken away.

Once upon a time, the South picked the wrong battle to stand up for state's rights. They were pulverized and reconstructed. Over the years, they have paid the price and are now hopefully the wiser. Now may be the time to vindicate their righteous battle for state's rights that they once lost when once the immorality of slavery was the more righteous cause.
Now the South is on the right side. That cause which Robert E. Lee once fought for is not in vain. THIS time is the right time, the right battle, and the right cause for the South. The Constitution is being dismantled, and the Southerners are not the slave-holders this time.
I hope the South rises again, but without the slavery.

It is only great ignorance that fuels the liberal hatred of anything that might resemble states rights. It stems from their poor public school educations where they were programmed by liberal school book writers that fed them garbage about what the civil war was about. But alas, the victors get to write the history books. Can anyone really imagine, that after a modern southern secesion, the south would revert to segregation? It is not and never has been about slavery or civil rights. The oppressive north does not want to see it's cash cow slip away along with their free thinking elite who would be packing up and leaving for warmer climates. How sad for them.

WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING TO OUR FREEDOM? Why does the risk or reality of some overly sensitive person's feelings getting hurt justify curbing our free speech?
