Kentucky Wins War on Christmas Battle
FRANKFORT, Ky. — A spokeswoman for Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear says he's calling the tree on the Capitol's front lawn a "Christmas" tree this holiday season.
A statement from the administration last week sparked Christmas consternation by referring to the yet-to-be-chosen evergreen as a "holiday" tree. Some Christians were perturbed by the terminology.

I am so proud of people and remembering what it was like and that is how we need to keep it. Merry Christmas to all from Minnesota! However, it would be much nicer if we didn't have to keep shaming some people into doing the right thing regarding Christmas. I'm not a very good practitioner of Christianity, but I still enjoy the holiday very much, especially after my wife and I had kids. Besides, it also happens to be my birthday, too. And no, I never felt cheated.

One of the great freedoms that we have in our country is the freedom to practice religion. No matter what your religious beliefs you should be able to worship as you please. That goes for Christians also. As many people have said on this site, if you don't like it either don't participate or leave my country.
