LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Move over, it's Saturday night at Club Bounce and people are bouncing onto the dance floor in a big, big way.

These are big, big people, all dressed to the nines and many tipping the scales at 250, maybe 300 pounds.

they are getting out, they are moving, it will help their morale, and perhaps relieve the depression and/or emotional disorder that cause their obesity. I think it's great

What's not to like about this? I believe that skinny people, (and I am one of them), do little to make the more portly among us feel very secure in social situations such as dance clubs. If having their own club that caters to them makes their lot in life better, I say party on...........................

I love how in real life the majority of people are overweight. The US is the most obese nation in the world. Not on the Internet though; everybody is thin and hot on the internet. I thought we're all capitalists? A true capitalist would weigh in on what a great idea this is; responding to the market 101.

This concept is just another way to encourage unhealthy individuals that their way of caring for themselves is acceptable, and not only that but good. I understand that many individuals struggle with their weight more than others, and the concept is a great idea for social standards. But, as far as the government is concerned, there should be some regulation on how much of a promotion is placed on such activities. Just as smoking has been a fad in years past and is now looked down upon, hopefully being obese doesn't follow the same guidlines.

Thats actually a cool and good idea that there is a club for bigger people so they will not be judged so much by others and they can get self confidence and be who they want and know that almost everyone else is in the same boat as them.

It a Great Idea. Most people who are over weight would be reluctant to dance at a club. This way, they can leave their self-consciousness at the door and replace it with self-confidence while among their rotund piers!
