The tea parties are working...just need to be more persistant & with more people. A big one is scheduled for D.C. on Sept. 12th. Go if you can, to thank a military person who fought for YOUR freedom of speech.Thank them in this way ! Bring a sign of "term limits" so D.C. will recognize the power of the electorate.

Mersey.... It looks like some of the Huff Post libs are out in force. Its hard to figure why they are such vicious,bitter, angry name callers. They seem so single minded. If you notice they don't know how to let it go. They are bullies and repeat posters. I think the Tea Parties , BO's falling poll numbers and Sarah Palin's popularity. are scaring them to death. ...I have come to the conclusion that this truly is a tabloid "news" site, as well as the fox news site. I came to this place to debate and question, I have been met with ridicule, no matter my tone, and the "news stories" portrayed on this site, as well as the people, have driven the bipartisanship from me. I no longer see a need to find common ground... I don't see any give and take, or any attempts at reconcilliation... It seems my liberal friends were right, you guys aren't interested in discussing anything. There is only mockery here. and if mockery is the purpose of this site, i see the divide between us only growing in the future. There are so few forums for true ideological debate. I thought this venue could be one. I have been proven wrong. The only thing left is to be beat up, or defend and attack.... At this point, although I do not wish it, I can't fight it. And I am losing the desire to.......
