Dear IMHO,
Ouch, you're comments hurt me deeply, maybe I should quit my job like St. Sarah of Wasilla (maybe then you could admire my courage).
By the way the Democratic party stopped being the party of the KKK around the same time the Republican party stopped being the party of civil rights.
That would be around 1948 or so when President Truman signed an executive order to intergrate the military.

I agree with spagetti jimmie; we must organize the disenchanted into a "new" political party with principals and NO percs, NO retirement, NO lobbiest money. A "founders" Party could , over time, restore our country. We NOW see what ignoring the communist influence from 1924 Chicago, yes, has brought us. Now is the time. If only some strong money people with similar views would come forward. "Let's roll" !

First public protest of my life, April 15, second, July 4. The closer to elections of 2010, the more and the louder. We the people will be heard. And we will show up at the polls. The Democrats will try to organize their forces but I predict, they will not have the enthusiasm needed to hold back the revolutionary tide of liberty. If you think people had enough now, wait until we see what other gifts this Trojan has in store.

Now whenever I read about a planned meeting in my area with universal health care, cap and trade lie, I get out there with my protest mobile, (I use washable paint on my car windows) or get out there with signs. Dont wait for a huge gathering, everyone should be out there daily protesting. this is very serious.

I gotta tell ya, this habit of havin' tea parties only on holidays is not effective
enough. It's a wonderful forum, and a great motivating factor, but with millions unemployed, everyone should be mobilized, and in the news every day. I know people have personal obligations, but we need to make more of an impact.

I believe holidays are a difficult time to get people to the tea parties. 4th of July many people are at home getting ready for their own back yard party and do not have the time for tea party. Maybe just any weekend would do it.

Tea parties are not a waste of time. They are one, of many, option we have to demonstrate and express our wants, as Americans. We can: go to Tea Parties (we are being heard), call and write our government officials (often), we vote for people who have read (and understand) the construction and anything else we can do to get the country back.
Don’t go to their home! They answer to us for their work. We do not go after their families.
The basics are that that power should be in the hands of the people, then the States and lastly the Federal Government. We have blindly let this flip the wrong way. We have been slowly lead by the nose until we are at the point that the Federal Government bribes us, with our own money, to do what they want.
“States, want your money back so you can fix your roads?” “Wait, we will tell you how you must fix your roads, before you get YOUR money back”.
“Counties want to be in control of your schools” “Well, you don’t get your money back to run your schools until you follow OUR standards”
Name calling degrades the best argument to sludge. If you want to be heard…be worth listening to…
Go be heard.
P.S. Educate yourselves.
