Bottom line is a man and a womans body parts go together naturally. Homosexually is un-natural joining of body parts. The bible dealt with this many years, or lets say God did, and if someone wants to dispute the bible or God, well they will get their day. still as christians, Jesus would encourage to love homosexuals. Jesus would see a human being, not a lifestyle, he encouraged us to even love our enemies. It is the nature of Satan to stir up this world, to keep us from a relationship with God. Satan will attack and divide, and Jesus said he came not to make peace but to also divide families. These issues are debateable by men and women on this earth, this nation will continue to erode with all the sickeness that most consider their choice. God gives us a choice, freedom to choose, one day it will be made known to all, God will be the ultimate judge, we should keep trying to help those who need God's love, love is the basis for healing souls.

Scott just name one example of a straight or gay in all of history that has ever convinced anyone they 'switched teams' so to speak. Just one example please. And pedophiles, they are probably born that way too, and no that does not make it okay. Regardless of how you feel about homosexuals, I think the idea that people choose their sexuality is ridiculous.

A christian voter can decide the right of a homosexual man or woman to marry and live a happy life, and these "opinions" are actually given respect by congress, yet one man rips up a book and it goes on national television? Unlike you I grew up in a home of alcoholics and had to endure every kind of abuse there is; yet today I am one of those robots you speak of. Karen you are correct in that we need to pray for this soul..however, I believe that we must stand up as Christians and state the Truth with charity. I am angry that this minority is able to shove their political agenda down our throats, and blaspheme against the Truth. Pray yes, but we cannot allow them and their agenda to continue to usurp the morals and values of the majority in this nation founded upon Judeo-Christian ethics. Are you kidding me? Jesus would tell him to repent, to flee from the wrath to come! Have you not read the words of Christ? He was pretty hard on sin and on those who continue in their sin! He would say what He said in Matt. 19:4-6. As a Christian I condemn no man. All are already condemned until they turn to Christ and receive forgiveness. But as an ambassador of Christ I will certainly stand for Jesus' teachings. This may requires harsh words sometimes, simply because I repeat the words of Christ Himself. This way no one can say I am to hard. I simply repeat what Christ taught. So if you condemn my words you are not condemning me but the words of Christ.

Was the gay individual right for tearing up the bible? No! But, I don't think Jesus would be on a street corner holding up signs telling gays that they are littering when they are obviously upset and feeling rejected by people. I think both sides in this video misunderstand Jesus. The gay man misunderstands Jesus' words. The protestors misunderstand Jesus' life.

I think it's safe to say that straights have done their share of to harm marriage. You see I thought marriage was forever. I thought that's what your Bible stated. Lets compare the morality of the two:
(A) The gay guy was using profanity, personally insulting people, and to a certain extent assaulting them with pages from the Bible.
(B) The Christian group used no profanity, did not personally attack him, and in no way assaulted the guy.
Looks to me like person 'A' needs to read the bible, it will help him be a better person. And what ever happend to the word 'tolerance'? Looks like a double standard to that guy.

If you grant gay and lesbian "marriage" then you have to grant the same rights to bisexuals. The gay and lesbian community do not want just the legal protections they want to belittle and make irrelevent the teachings of the Bible. Time and time again they have been offered same-sex union protection and have stated, quite clearly, that it was not enough. They want to force you to accept them and their lifestyle. They have every right to enter into a civil contract with whomever they choose but remember, if you allow same-sex unions you must also allow unions of bi-sexuals. Marriage is between one man and one woman. It is defined. Any different arrangement must be defined as well. What two men have or two women have is different than what my wife and I have. I'm not syaing it is better or worse, just different. It, therefore, must be defined as such. Here, I'll grt you started: A legal union of lesbians could be called a larriage; a legal union of gays could be called a garriage.

Yes homosexuality is a sin, but isn't that why Jesus came to earth - to seek and save that which is lost? I just wonder how many Christians have taken the time to let him know that Christ loved him so much that he actually gave His life for him to be free from that sin. I have know a few people who have been delivered from homosexuality, and they all say that in spite of all the bravado they were hurting deeply inside.( I can't say this true for every one though.) And yes I believe that we should stand up for our rights but at the same time we need to show the world the love of Christ. I pray this young man finds a relationship with Jesus before it is to late for him. I believe if we all pray for him, God will find a way into his heart.

There's a record in the Bible where King Jehoiakim cut up the Scriptures with his penknife. And today we notice that the Biblical "chronology" of his life is "cut up" and out of sequence. King Jehoichim of Judah did pretty much the same thing when confronted with God's word and didn't much care for it, cutting it out and burning the offending passage. When he died he was given the burial of an ass, his heirs stripped from ruling, and the Kingdom of Judah was handed over to the Babylonians for punishment.
God's word is eternal and has been attacked physically and philosophically throughout the ages. This man is mortal, will one day die (like all mortals this isn't a death threat for crying out loud don't any liberal dare take that out of context) and be long, long forgotten.
