The "genius" that created this silliness didn't even have the foresight to use a classical image of Christ. He used a picture of the actor Robert Powell from the mini-series "Jesus of Nazareth". It's hokey and stupid. It demeans Jesus to the position of pop icon. Jesus doesn't need an ad campaign emulating a neophyte president's manufactured image.

Did you happen to watch THE MESSIAH when he was making his acceptance speech? You are correct Obama is not the antichrist, because the antichrist will only show himself after the rapture since is so evil, God takes christians and children under the age of 12 since christians are the light of the world. The world then falls into darkness. The antichrist is coming and as a christian I can tell you we are living in our last days. So get used to it, because there is no turning back.

As a christian I can honestly tell you that Obama is not the antichrist, because the antichrist is so evil that he can not show himself until after the rapture this is when christians and all children under the age of 12 will be snatched away since chrisitians are the light of the world the world will fall into darkness and then and only then can the antichrist show himself. The antichrist will also use peace to get what he wants although this would be a false peace. Do not be worried, because God is in control and everything you see happening is happening for a reason although there will be a one world government, order, and religion. Always know that God is in control.

It is a sad day indeed. Revelations says that God has a beef about each church out there.....where does your church stand? This particular church that is luring people in their doors through propaganda definitely leans towards Thyatira or Pergamum. People - if your church & bible were taken away today, would you be strong enough to stand against Evil? Be careful who you follow. Do you follow Peter or Paul...or do you follow Jesus Christ? Jesus warned against this multiple times.....He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

I was just watching your report on NCAA coaches and what and how they are paid. Look at LSUsports.net to research how one state school was prohibited from getting any state funds for the athletic program more than 40 years ago. LSU's athletic department is totally self sufficient and has been for all this time. Last year the Athletic department contributed $35 milliion dollars to the general scholarship fund from the profits of their $135 Million dollar operating budget. It is a big business, and brings untold funds and good press for the university. LSU has one of the most comprehensive athletic program for men and women. They are consistently ranked in the top 20 in several sports for men and women. The facilities are so impressive and complete that the Special Olympics has used the campus several times to hold their event.
Sports and college atheletes have gotten a bum rap from the liberal left. This is a positive program for our kids from little league and peewee soccer games
through high school and into college. Kids who play sports exceed in school and in life.

I don't care whet the Church says, the likeness of these signs as comared to Obamas is too close to deny. Especially with Jesus's face over the word HOPE. Why didn't they use something more in line with , say, "Peace" or "He died for your sins" or something more in line with Jesus himself. They are taking away from Jesus the very thing he died for by making the signs look so closely related to Obama's political signs of "Hope". Just the fact we are discussing Obama in the same realm as Jesus shows truly why the church

Uh, am I wrong? I read the article and the church is promoting Jesus for Easter, not Obama. They simply used the same type of format Obama use in the layout of the sign. It's clearly only showing support for Jesus. Calm down, folks!

I think the point is that the fact that Jesus and Obama are even being assimilated at all shows a tremendous lack of understanding about who Jesus was and what He accomplished on the cross.

OK, Jesus clearly predicted that all of this would happen in the last days. Whether you want to face it or not, we are in the last days, and the job of the church is very important in the US now.
