Cokie Roberts: Voight Is 'Cringe-making'

Cokie Roberts, an occasional panelist on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," has been speaking out more than usual lately. First, she said last month that director Roman Polanski should be taken out and shot because he "raped and drugged and raped and sodomized a child."

On Sunday's "This Week," Roberts turned her gaze on actor Jon Voight (perhaps known more as Angelina Jolie's father). In a speech Thursday, Voight said that President Barack Obama "has had 20 years of subconscious programming by Rev. Wright to damn America."

Roberts called Voight's remarks "cringemaking" and said that such comments as Voight's make "you feel just very uncomfortable."

If that beotch doesn't feel comfortable in her own skin , perhaps her moral
compass is telling her that her value system is untenable. I'm an unapologetic
fiscal , and social conservative, who states his mind , and even the most vulgar,
radical Progressive invective can't make my mind uncomfortable with my heart .

Voight’s another right wing nut if I saw at the airport, I go home.
Him, Col Peters and a few others are going to go McVeigh one day.
They need some serious Dr Phil time.
When homeland security report said watch out for right wing nuts, Fox news went crazy. After one goes McVeigh everyone will say “all the sign were there – written out – Obama should have put all the Limbaughciles in jail – sofa king dumb.”

And when he wasn't sitting in the church, he was listening to the Rev's tapes. Surely, that makes me cringe especially when he denied over and over again having heard anything negative. So Cokey, shed your bias and open up your eyes and ears.

Let me see here,,,,,
Did Obama sit in the church and listen to Wright spew his vile hate?
For 20 years?
Did the good reverend say "God Damn America" in one of his sermons??
More than once???
OK,, so Mr Voight spoke the truth and this makes Cokie cringe?
So the truth makes Cokie cringe.
Hmmmmmmmm

After 20 years of sermons the best fox news did was a 20 second video clip if Wright saying what most thinking people ponder. Pull you head out of your asses. And Cookie is wright you look and JV and wonder where his head is at. OH well, you folk shave John, Chuck and the Church, we have the rest of Hollywood, the universities, and well scientists.

Sorry fool but most real Americans do not GD America!
Nor do they spread the message of Hate quite like Wright did and Obama soaked it all up. Talk about chickens coming home to roost...you can take the blame for all the injustices of the world but I happen to believe it is NOT America's fault. I am not alone.
Scared little boys and girls will always take the blame because you have never had to stand up and fight for anything. You depend on others to do it for you...typical lib.
