Lou Dobbs Leaving CNN
Lou Dobbs, the longtime CNN anchor whose anti-immigration views have made him a TV lightning rod, said Wednesday that he is leaving the cable news channel effective immediately.
Sitting before an image of an American flag on his television set, he said “some leaders in media, politics and business have been urging me to go beyond the role here at CNN and to engage in constructive problem solving as well as to contribute positively to the great understanding of the issues of our day.”
“I’m considering a number of options and directions,” Mr. Dobbs added.

This man has been with CNn for over 30 years and his views have remained the same but for some reason they don't like him expressing his views.

CNN doesn't deserve someone as fine as Lou Dobbs. I'm glad he's leaving them. He's the only reason I ever watch them to begin with. This should really sink their ratings. I pray that Fox News will offer him a show. If they don't, it's their loss.

It used to be that I disagreed with a lot of what Lou Dobbs had to say...........but what he had to say about illegal immigration and politics became issues that I mostly was in agreement.
