Clint: U.S. Becoming More 'Juvenile'
Clint Eastwood is better known for his fists than his fashion sense, but that didn't stop GQ magazine from naming him a man of the year.
Eastwood joins Barack Obama, Tom Brady, the three stars of "The Hangover" and "Star Trek" actor Chris Pine on five special covers for the December issue (www.gq.com), which hits newsstands Tuesday.
Eastwood talks politics, love, religion, diet and women in a wide-ranging interview with deputy editor Michael Hainey, who calls the 79-year-old the "patron saint of late bloomers."

This is,in part, a result of the Hollywood culture of anything goes which has infected the populace to the degree that we don't teach our children right from wrong lest they feel judged. We seek our pleasures while ignoring the consequenses of letting the youth of our nation run wild." What's in it for me" has replaced the "Ask not what my country can do for me... " attitude of past generations.
This attitude starts at the top and is personified best by Nancy Pelosis proclaimation of "we won". The we she refers to is the Democrat party when the only we that should even be considered is We the People.
As Republicans, like Lindsey Graham, abandon the core values of their party, in favor of a "go along to get along" attitude that he hopes will move the "we won" boast to the (R) side of the aisle, the country continues to slip away from "We thePeople".
Stand up, people, and hold these preditors of power accountable or the gifts of freedom and liberty that have been given us will not be available to pass on to future generations and we will "perish from the face of the Earth".

Clint Eastwood is correct. We have become, in his words, "a nation of teenage twits." Where the nation that experienced the Revolutionary war, the Civil war, the Great Depression, World War I and World War II, knew about hardships, freedom, reality and being "in it together," This generation, including the generation that grew of age during the 1960s and 70s, have been preverted and corrupted. They have no sense of morals, decency, responsibilty nor do they know how to fight for freedom. It is very sad.
I couldn't agree more. I've noticed over the past couple decades a kind of effete spinelessness that has become common with many "males" I meet these days, and the narcissism and sense of entitlement is just mind-blowing. How in the hell did that happen? Are we drowning in a sea of estrogen? Sure feels like it!

Clint--you are the man. It all starts in the school system (indoctrination). The youth of today is learning that it doesnt take hard work to get what you want. It is teaching them that they are bad if they are better off (because of hard work) then others. This will lead to a generation of needy cradle to gravers who think they are entitled to live just as well as someone who works 60-80 hrs a week when they work 1/2 the time. What sad days we are in for. Hopefully in 2012 it changes. I still think we have a generation of lazy.

Our troops nowadays have to fight with a hand tied behind their back.
