Rep. Issa: White House Refusal to Investigate 'Climate-Gate' Is 'Unconscionable'
The U.N.'s decision this week to investigate whether some of its climate change research had been manipulated constitutes a "direct rebuke" of the Obama administration, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said Friday.
The White House's unwillingness to open a similar inquiry could now only be characterized as "a sad abdication of their responsibility to ensure that U.S. policies are not driven by corrupted science and data," the congressman added.

This mornings news: The hacks are alleged to have come from a Russian university set up by the KGB.... how surprising. Yes the emails are damaging, but so is the fact that the hack is alleged to come from a country that is one of the largest producers of fossil fuels.

What would you do for $22,000,000? Would you delete emails that prove you altered or deleted your data in an attempt to keep this information from being obtained through FOI requests? Would you have an editor fired or threaten to ostrasize a publication because they printed peer reviewed research that contradicted your own? That's a big chunk of change to think about...
Of your 95%, how many of them got to see the data before it was altered? Of course you don't know...but wouldn't you want to know? How many could be ruined if this information gets out? There is a lot at stake here. Reputations, prestigious posts as universities, gobs of cash...I hear the paper shredders now.

LOL is Pluto a planet? Are scientists still learning or trying to learn about our climate? I have read several articles about Irland and ice age. Scientists there have developed method of messuring mud cores near lakes. Whybecause mud does not leach down to the next level. This group of scientists are getting better reading of what world climate has been. They have discovered that it does not take decades for a freeze it can happen in one to two years which leaves no time for man to fix it. Loads of fresh water plunges into the oceans all at once slows the ocean current or stops it. We freeze. They are stll trying to learn about how our climate works. These guys do not like it that both sides try to use thier research to prove warming or not. How many people have been told to look at the dry lakes and low rivers and lack of rain in there area's? Millions. The UN uses that to show global warming yet When people use same thing but rain snow cold temps and full rivers The same UN says that can not be used, because it is only anecdotal evidence. Point being science is not settled. Every living thing puts out co2 every green thing takes it in. The climate of earth is not static it has frozen sold and melted before without help from man.

The reason why Obama is ignoring it because so many of his cronnie friends stand to make a fortune and if found to be a fraud they would loose millions if not billions of dollars. GE stands to probably benefit the most along with alot of union's. Frankly I think they all should be arrested ,tried and when found guilty,send them to Sunny Gitmo,Cuba for about 50 years. No sense in letting such a fine prison go to waste,especially since so much tax payer money has been spent in the last 4 yrs making it comfortable for the troops guarding the terrorists.
