Clift on Global Warming: No Proof of God Either

On the Nov. 29 edition of "The McLaughlin Group," host John McLaughlin asked about the prospects of a Copenhagen climate change treaty and its possible impact on the U.S. economy. MSNBC and "The McLaughlin Group" regular Pat Buchanan gave some spot-on analysis on global warming alarmist about former Vice President Al Gore and how it pertains to the climate change issue.
"Well, I don't think it's going to have any impact, John, because I don't think it's going to get through the United States Senate," Buchanan said. "And there's a reason for that John, and that's Al Gore's moment has come and gone. The truth is they're changing the name to climate change rather than global warming for a reason." Read more here.

She long ago became irrelevant - i think they only keep bringing her back is for the levity - i usually get a good laugh from the crazy things she comes out with. This is where Clift and her ilk go over a CLIFF. I don't need science to prove to me that God exists, I accept that on faith. However, when it comes to something as tangible as the climate and weather, I would think science should be able to come up with honest estimates, based on SCIENCE, not made up numbers and data.

Consider this “smoking gun” statement sent via email by Dr. Phil Jones, the Director of the East Anglia CRU (easily verified in the emails):
"The scientific community would come down on me in no uncertain terms if I said the world had cooled from 1998. OK it has but it is only 7 years of data and it isn't statistically significant."
These two simple sentences (NOT taken out of context, verify the email online in the climateGate files to see), clearly indicate that Dr. Jones and the recipient (A scientist at the University of Alabama I believe) both KNEW about global cooling, and decided NOT to reveal it. This is staggering!
And he says “Not statistically significant”?? Since 1998 billions have been spent on climate research – billions of dollars certainly is statistically significant to me. Major governmental entities have developed public policy based on the fraudulent misrepresentations of these scientists, while politicians and pundits continually saturate the media with what turns out to be more of a “theology” than science.
This is the real story – they knew it was cooling, and hid that fact (for personal gain). Perhaps this is why the larger sphere of alarmists re-branded the movement from “Global Warming” to “climate Change” a few years back – because they knew what Dr. Jones knew (and the U. Alabama scientist he was writing to), at least all the way back in 2005.
