Empire State Bldg Turns Red & Yellow to Celebrate 60th Anniv. of Communist China??
New York's iconic Empire State Building will light up red and yellow Wednesday in honor of the 60th anniversary of communist China. The Chinese consul, Peng Keyu, and other officials will take part in the lighting ceremony which will bathe the skyscraper in the colors of the People's Republic until Thursday, Empire State Building representatives said in a statement.

Have we not heard and seen enough of the Chinese Communist Revolution to want to condemn it and not celebrate it. We can list all the abuses even to the present moment. I guess we have given up now. Are all our military in Korea come home now? I can only imagine what the Vietnam vets are thinking. All this time has worn us out. I would like to mention also the religious persecution that continues in Communist China. WHAT ABOUT TIBET? We might not make a scene about it (though we should), we still should not bow to it. Does anyone else feel like we have been sold out? I guess we have reached to stage of pimping now. That goes for the south lawn as well.
