there is a movement to split CA into two states. its called Downsize CA and they have a website at www.downsizeca.org . From the Bay down the coast to San Diego would be split into one state and the rest would be its own state. This needs to happen because the bay and LA are ruining the rest of CA. They elect Feinstein and Boxer!!! The rest of the state is conservative and our voice wont ever be heard because of the huge population centers in the cities.

One of CA's problems are all those high paid, mis-educated people in "HOLLYWEIRD" (Ooops. I mean Hollywood.) Even the sign is trying to fall off the hill! I just love it when the demmies call the repubs, "the party for the rich'! Let's see ........... Soros, Buffet, Gates, and 98% of the film industry supports the "progressive (demmy) party" with megabucks! The CA "Green Team" want a "green" agenda, but not in their state! Democrats have long been known to be "tax &spend" politicians. They now think that YOUR money is THEIR money. I've never seen such arrogance as I have on the part of the three stooges, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid. We left Virginia recently because of oppressive taxes and liberalism in northern Virginia.

The people in California seem to love her and the rest of the far left politicians (like Maxine Waters) that they keep sending to Washington. As the loons in California continue to raise their taxes to pay for their social welfare programs though, their more conservative neighbors in Arizona, Nevada get the jobs from the companies that have had enough and decided to move.
Keep electing the politicians that only want to keep increasing the taxes in California because the people here in Arizona can sure use the jobs. Just leave your taxes off the rest of us.

What will it take to open the eyes of voters that continue to vote in the likes of Pelosi, Boxer, Reid, Frank, Dodd, Kennedy, etc...If they do not wake up in 2010 and vote for real change this country is doomed. This group no longer answer to the voters...they really feel they are untouchable...it is time to remind all politicians they work for us - the people - the same ones that paid for their raise in January and the same people that demand they represent American Citizens not their inflated egos. Our beautiful state is now the first third-world state in the U.S.A. Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer, Waxman, the Sanchez sisters and our erstwhile governor and legislature have ruined this once Golden State. Years ago, when airlines were about to land the attendant would announce "Welcome to Paradise." Now they could easily say "Welcome to Mexifornia.". All our politicians do is TAX and SPEND and cater to ILILLEGAL immigrants and lobbyists for political purposes. California is done! Paradise Lost.! that is there solution for the outrageous spending that this state does is to tax the ca people, the people need to oust these crooks right out of office in the next election i am about sick of these people and what they have done to this state, the latest they have done is cut my ssi check in half and that is unacceptable to me and probably everyone in this state that draws a ssi check that is pretty bad when they go after the disable people that are on a fixed income what's next

Sam - I am presuming you are an OC resident as am I - I am trying to do what I can to get Carly Fiorina to step up and run against Boxer - she has stated that she is looking into doing this and I have e-mailed her and told her that I will start working on her campaign right now throughout southern California. Let's hope she makes the decision soon and gets running.
