What a great song. Hank "gets it". I wish our polititians would also. I guess since I posted here I'm considered a threat to the nation.. Or is it because I am a veteran, or have a flag flying in front of my house, or have guns, or go to church, or believe we are on the wrong track?

I was part ogf the Richmond VA Tea Party; we were a force of 3-4000 in the rain! Peaceful protest,covered by all 3 (ugh) networks and FOX! The interesting thing about Richmond is an "Anti-Tea Party" protest was supposed to occur just across from us and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP.

My husband and I are one of many protesting what Obama and his Congressional cronies are doing. Americans are not stupid! We are not extremists and I'm sick of listening to all their BULL. We have always paid our taxes and I'd like to know why Obama had to select so many in his cabinet that haven't paid theirs. As for transparency... it sure is nice that all the dummies in congress okayed bills they didn't even read... and the president signed these bills... are we all crazy extremists! For the record... I'm sick of Pelosi's smile as she speaks of bi-partisanship and Frank's limp satirical comments. The people see right through that crapola. Now Obama and Napolitano are picking on our heroic soldiers... who are they going to blame for that latest bit of stupidity... all us "racists" - give me a break!

You "Go Girl" That is is in a nut shell!! Obama cuts our National Defense and our Brave "Volunteers" Army Froced go without support and pay raises! But he doesn't care about all the "Pork Spending" he signed without reading! Congress has TO GO in 2010 and then we get the rest in 2012 at the polls! Time to Clean House and 2012 elect a true Patriot! We the people, don't want a President that tashes our country when he is abroad, nor do we the people, need to be lecture when it has been the American Soldiers that have bailed out their sorry butts because they couldn't do it themselves and we the people have given humanitarian aid to people who hate us in times of need. Not ALL Americans Rudy! a lot of us could see what he was doing, some of us were not drinking kool aid. I'm sure some of the 52% that did vote for them, feel bad about it now! We will endure and he will not be re-elected in 2012 and don't think Hillary has a chance either after being a part of this administration either. This is a repeat of our mistake when we voted for Carter. That is why it is important to know our history and not repeat the same mistakes, but learn and make better decisions for the future to make us even better! Make your voices heard by your vote and make your protests heard by your reprepresentatives. We the people will be heard, and the Tea Parties are a good start. It is just a matter of each one of us being aware of what our "so called" lawmakers are doing and up to and holding them accountable for their votes. They are to be "our voices" back home when they make that vote, they are a servant to us not the other away around, and that is what we allowed

Hey dc. You need to open your curtains, and take a good look outside. There is nothing Obama is doing that is benefiting anyone but himself. The drop out rate in schools is at an all time high and the streets are not safe. So you need to spend more time watching what is going on outside your cave, and spend less time listening to a man that has turned his back on his country. I am a retired grandma to! I have lived long enough to see government spending is at an all time HIGH. You can't spend your way out of this mess!! I watched the Obmanation on T V last night. He wants all poor and middle class to do with less, we can't do with much less and still eat! He said the government must spend, spend ,spend. God help us! Obamanation won't. dc, you have it wrong. Throwing money at schools doesn't make them GOOD. I can show you schools in NJ that FAIL, though they have millions of $$ tossed at them. Police departments determine how they'll staff themselves as per their budget (oh, and they fundraise privately too.. huh.. go figure!) in that little thing called 'home rule'. Not -government- rule. As for the businesses leaving the country? When it's cheaper to use outside labor, that's what they'll do. So, with taxes rising, what's the incentive to come back? NONE.
You have such a liberal outlook. 'Oh look! Let's raise taxes and THROW MONEY at it! That'll FIX IT!'

If you understand what Hank is really saying, thank your liberal senators and congressmen for sending our jobs oversees and to mexico! And for letting all the illegals, and yes I said illegals, in this country. I love this land more than most and it angers me to see what this land come to, what it has become. I,am feed up and mad all of this makes me think of a movie made about 30 years ago NETWORK where the new caster say he is made as hell and he is not going to take it any more on the air check it out on utube just put in mad as hell. I have worked hard all my life and been saving and alot is gone and that and the congress, house andmy local goverment make me verey made because if I need something (help) I,ve made to much I fallin between because I worked hard. I worked all the over time I could missed famly parties ,birthdays and many holidays to get what I have and know alot of it is GOONE.

we the people need 2 start over with our government,start impeaching from the bottom up. As for banks & other financial companies; our government needs 2 stay out of them. Our taxes r 2 high as is. People have 2 chose food r bills. Meds. r bills. Gas{if u still have a job} r bills. Bring companies back 2 the U.S. ,put our people back 2 work.

Well, I hope HWJr. will see how Obama's policies would actually benefit the person he sings about. The schools were good? That's because taxes support schools. The streets were safe? A little socialism called the police. Factory closing down and moving to another country? Obama wants to change such loopholes. What an amazing conversion for a conservative to make - I'm proud of him!

Are you pretending, or are you really that dumb? The schools used to be good because the NEA did not control the curriculum (revisionist history, socialistic, etc). The streets were safe because people went to church and abided by the Golden Rule and the Ten Commandments. Everybody was diligent about their own work ethic, and parents were available to rear their children well. They turned out good citizens with patriotic hearts. Then the 60's Free Love and drug culture hit --- backed by the Communist element that has been in the US since the "golden days" of Hollywood. Remember Joe McCarthy? He was right! So was Khruschev when he said "we (communism) will bury you (the U.S.) without firing a shot...we'll do it from within!" Wake up, dc!
