U.S. Enlists Allies in New Afghan Troop Surge
The Obama administration is in advanced talks with its North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies for a coordinated rollout of a new Afghan war strategy, which U.S. officials hope will include a commitment by European allies to send several thousand additional troops.
U.S. and European estimates of the new troops they may get from NATO allies vary from 3,000 to 7,000. Those would complement the additional U.S. forces Obama is considering; those options range from 10,000 to 40,000, but U.S. officials have said a combination of combat troops and training forces totaling 35,000 has gained the most momentum.
Arrangements haven't been finalized, but coordinated announcements of new troops could come as soon as the week of Nov. 30. They are likely to include an address by the NATO secretary general, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, shortly after President Barack Obama unveils his strategy.

Now Obama wants to tax us to support our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. In the meantime, while we are spilling our nation's blood and paying for these two wars, the allies intend to send maybe 3000 to 4000 troops. What we should do, is make peace with the enemy, bring our troops home, and tell the enemy if you leave us alone, we will do nothing to prevent you from doing your "thing" in any NATO/EU country. Then when they need help, we can send a couple of troops to help them and let them call it a coalition.

Does anyone know how many TERRORIST Al Qaeda has as members of their Army. We already have 68,000 troops, other allies, 36,000, so if we send 40,000 more including allies, that's 144,000 troops. The public at large actually believe the invasion of Iraq is going badly, as sectarian violence doesn’t seem to stop. What the public fails to see, is that the destabilization of Iraq is exactly what the people behind the government want.
This war is to be sustained, so the region can be divided up, domination of the oil maintained, continual profits reaped for the defense contractors and most importantly, permanent military bases established to be used as a launching pad against other oil bearing, non-conforming countries, such as Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
