Hillary Lowers Bar for Success in Afghanistan
Top Obama administration officials took pains to lower the bar for success in Afghanistan Sunday, stressing that the administration is seeking an exit strategy and holds "no illusions" that it will transform the country into a functional modern democracy.
The ongoing rhetorical tweaking of the U.S. mission in Afghanistan comes as the president weighs whether to send more troops to the war zone. It was thought that officials were leaning toward sending more than 30,000 U.S. forces, but Obama rejected all troop-level proposals last week, sending strategists back to the drawing board.
Obama is expected to announce some troop increase along with clearer limitations on U.S. goals for the war when he returns from Asia late this week. The announcement is expected either just before or just after the Thanksgiving holiday on Nov 26.

You know, I remember back when Hillary lost the primary to Obama and she was caught shedding a few tears, I distinctly remember her saying she wasn’t not crying for herself but for her country !!! Politicians need to stop trying to run the war - haven't we learned yet!! The fact is the Talibin has given, and continues to give, shelter to Bin Ladin and Al Qaeda. We need to stay the course, altho it is difficult for the military to protect us when our Muslim-in-Chief refuses to acknowledge the war on terrorism continues, and allows terrorism to flourish in our own country. Now he is giving the same rights to terrorists as US citizens by calling 9/11 a "criminal act" and bringing the terrorists to our soil in NYC and possibly housing terrorists in Illinois. Shameful!!!!

Obama has made his decision, he's just stalling. His "new strategy" will be a drawdown or a pullout. Democrats NEVER want to spend money on defense. They want to spend ALL the money of social programs to buy votes from their parasite base.

Clinton is saying/playing anything that she thinks will help to solidify her chances for the Presidential Run in 2012. If that means kissing _ss - she will do that or anything else that she thinks will endear her to the constituency. The Clintons are two-faced and talk out of both sides of their mouths just like Obumma. As far as I am concerned - OBUMMA's "dithering" is costing too many American lives and because of that (amongst other things) he should be impeached --- maybe even charged for criminal negligence - since he is supposed to be the Commander in Chief. Clinton is a joke and BO just keeps laughing at her behind her back. She has been relegated to insignificance.
