Senator Calls for 'Immediate and Thorough' Investigation of ACORN
Pressure is building for a top-to-bottom review of ACORN in the wake of undercover videos showing the organization giving questionable advice, with a top Republican calling Tuesday for an "immediate and thorough" investigation of the group. Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., ranking Republican on the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs called for the congressional probe in a letter to committee Chairman Christopher Dodd, D-Conn.

Same old political BS. Democrat or Republican are all the same in the New Unified All For Me party, and only pretend to be acting concerned in order to save their own political agenda. My opinion is ultimately this thing is going to blow over and nothing will ever get done about it.
If any of this was such a big deal and cause for concern; why is no one challenging Obama filling, what should be vetted cabinet positions, with everything but?
Our whole political system is a sham filled with nothing more than thieves, liars and cheats. Even worse is they have the keys to the vault.

Mike, you are of course right, however we have never seen this many pissed off conservatives at one time. This will be the difference here. It is a tsunami heading their way. The inertia behind this movement will tear out this corruption on both sides, even if it takes violence to do so.

You have to expect the two senators from Ill. to vote in favor of ACORN...Chicago mentality. The two from Vermont, this stste is so liberal they hate each other. I am surprised the junior senator from Ny even voted with out her daddy Schumer saying up or down. The other two are fools who do not expect to get re-elected and shouldn't. On 7/23/09 the House oversight & Government Reform Committee headed by Representative Darrel Issa published an 88 page report entitled "Is ACORN Intentionally Structured As A Criminal Enterprise". Additionally Representative John Boehner and Michele Bachmann proposed the Taxpayer Protection & Anti Fraud Act. These representatives were virtually ignored by the leadership. It took two cub investigators to bring this matter to a head. I say bravo for them, they should be congratulated! The leadership in Congress should be very afraid. As far as I am concerned they should all be fired immediately!

After listening to Obama address the AFL - CIO in Pittsburg, it became very crystal clear about Obama's agenda and purpose. Ayn Rand got it right. I was instantly reminded of the scene where she describes how the decline of industry began. It was Unions. The audio in his speech yesterday was weird. They purposely gave him echo then suddenly his voice would boom. I will not listen to him anymore.I can get a synopsis of his speeches from FOX or whatever. Not only should acorn funds be cut-off, but they should be forced to give back all the moneys that they have already been given. If they refuse to do so, than they should be prosecuted. But good luck with this current Congress, this Congress is all about corruption.

1. ACORN is too corrupt to receive taxpayer money.
2. ACORN is too partisan to be a tax exempt organization.
3. ACORN (and its affiliates) is criminal enough to be prosecuted, and probably criminal enough to be shut down, with all its affiliates.
4. And Obama is on video telling ACORN that he will have them in, shaping national policy. Obama has already linked himself to ACORN.
5. How can we allow either Obama or ACORN to remain in place?
