Hoffman Considering Recount Claim
Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman said on Friday he is considering filing a recount claim in light of computer irregularities that have been reported. He has until Monday to make that decision.
Mr. Hoffman conceded the New York's 23rd Congressional District race to winner Democrat Bill Owens on Election Night, but has had second thoughts.
Three voting computers were shown to have had a virus and had to be reprogrammed, Mr. Hoffman told The Washington Times' "America's Morning News" radio show.
"If I had this information on Election Night, I would not have conceded," he said.

ACORN hasn't been investigated, put some money on voter fraud, what other election has been honest including Texas and Illinois in RFK election, probably they could have included New Orleans in that election count.

Oswego, NY -- Democrat Bill Owens picked up about 300 more votes as more of the 11 counties in the 23rd Congressional district finished counting absentee ballots.
As of Friday, Owens led Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman by 3,129 votes. With all votes tallied except one town in Clinton County, Owens lead now is 3,422. Oswego, Essex, Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties finished counting absentee ballots Monday.
Hoffman spokesman Rob Ryan said Hoffman will issue a formal statement sometime today on what he will do next.
As of Friday, it was determined that Hoffman could not overtake Owens to win the race. Oswego and Essex still had not reported absentee numbers and Jefferson, St. Lawrence and Clinton had only partial numbers.
On Monday, Owens picked up another 293 votes. Ryan had said on Friday that Hoffman would have to be within 500 votes or less to have a chance of winning the election.
As of Monday afternoon, the vote tally is 72,817 for Owens and 69,395 for Hoffman — a lead of 3,422 for Owens. All totals still are unofficial until the votes are certified, which should be in a week or so.
Hoffman told supporters last week the election was “stolen” by Democrats, labor unions and the community activist group ACORN. Hoffman also accused his opponents of tampering with ballots, but when pressed for evidence, he declined to offer any.

Based on a newspaper article, sorry I can't remember what rag, reporting "upgrades" to digital voting equipment may result in counting errors. I certainly hope Hoffman does unconcede if nothing else to make sure every vote is properly counted.

If anyone from the Hoffman camp can read this, then please do the recount. Fair is fair. If Owens won it fair and square, then he has nothing to fear. I think every vote needs to be represented, like in Min. with Al Franken. Let's do it boys.

The stimulus money has been STOLEN. The reason there are so many mistakes in RECOVERY.ORG is because it is a fictional coverup for the billions of $$ the Obama administration has secretly funneled to ACORN, SEIU, and individuals to pay for past and future support and votes. Contact your senators and representatives and tell them to demand an INDEPENDENT accounting of the stimulus $$. Until we have one, we can assume that the OBAMA administration has STOLEN the money.

Look, we all know that Dems have been expert in fixing elections in NJ, Ill., in the Coleman race and that SEIU-ACORN have been their partners in crime. But, in this one, the fact that Pubs did not have a primary, caused their defeat. Period. Next spring, have a primary, and if Doug puts his name up or the County Assessor who is popular, let us see who the Pubs nominate to run against Owens. If the Pubs can't use their 45,000 registration advantage to getting a person elected, shame on them. I just want to see the GOP come back and run a good campaign against the Dem socialist pacifists and win back that seat.

The virus was discovered by the manufacturer before the election. A manufacturer rep fixed the virus before the election. So I guess the manufacturer decided to risk it's entire business trying to throw an election for a non-important seat in a district that had become a circus by that point. Yeah that makes sense. That's right. Hoffman's concession is with the caveat that everything was done fair and square. Of course he can call for a recount. If there was fraud, then Hoffman conceding doesn't count.
